Understand official analytics, fallback data, and credits
Know what VeroKit stores, which source refreshes a profile, and when public-data provider credits are used.
Stored internal archive
Media kits and dashboards read their last saved analytics snapshot from VeroKit’s database. This preserves the usable history even if a provider later changes.
Official connections
A creator-authorized Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube connection uses that platform’s official read-only API. It uses zero ScrapeCreators or other public-data provider credits.
Public-data fallback
Connecting, discovering, or refreshing a public handle retrieves supported public data and can spend provider credits. The source is visibly labeled as a fallback.
Freshness check on open
Opening a kit reads saved data first. When a source is stale, VeroKit refreshes through that source: official connections use the official API; public fallbacks may use provider credits.
Platform limits
Metrics, history, and refresh frequency remain subject to each social platform’s permissions, account eligibility, API quotas, and published fields.
