Run Comment Automations, inbox replies and eligible batches
One person counts once per connected Instagram account each month. Messages within their flow are included.
Choose your allowance
Free includes 100 contacts each month and one active campaign. Creator Pro includes 1,000 contacts; Pro Plus includes 5,000. These allowances are separate from finished creator-tool jobs.
Connect Instagram
Connect your own professional account from the sending setup. Grant comment access; conversation, optional email capture and follow-up flows also need messaging access.
Build and activate a campaign
Choose a comment, incoming DM, Story reply or Story mention trigger. Add matching words and your conversation. Preview without sending, save a draft and publish when the setup checks pass. Messaging access is required for DM and Story triggers.
Collect an email optionally
Choose Collect an email and add your email request and privacy-policy link. After someone responds to the opening DM, they can type their email or reply SKIP; either path delivers the resource in Instagram. The address is checked for format, not mailbox ownership.
Find collected emails
Open Audience or the contact details in Inbox to see the address, collection time and source automation, or export your audience as CSV. The recorded purpose is resource delivery. This does not record marketing consent or subscribe the person to a mailing list.
Use your contact inbox
New connected-account messages appear in Contacts & inbox. Add tags and private notes, save reusable replies, and reply within 24 hours of the latest eligible inbound message. Pause automation per contact when taking over manually. Earlier chats are not imported.
Review a batch
Select existing contacts and write a message, then review eligibility before sending. Opt-outs, paused automations, expired reply windows and exhausted contact capacity are skipped. Arbitrary lists of usernames cannot be messaged. Refresh batch status to inspect each result or cancel remaining queued messages.
Review AI suggestions
With an available AI service and included creator-tool jobs, explicitly consent to share the selected message and supplied facts with OpenAI. Each completed suggestion uses one included job; failure returns it. Edit the draft, verify facts, then choose Send reply separately. Notes, tags and other conversations are excluded.
Know which triggers are unavailable
New-follower welcome DMs and DMs for unmentioned Story shares are unavailable on VeroKit’s current Meta connection. A Story mention must tag your account. Broader messaging access still requires Meta approval; account permissions are checked before activation and sending.
Count people once
Alex can comment on three posts and receive an opening DM, a link and a follow-up: one contact that month. The first accepted DM counts; public-reply-only campaigns count the first accepted reply. Followers who receive no automation do not count.
Understand failures and pending sends
Definitive failures and duplicate events do not consume contacts. Pending or uncertain sends temporarily reserve capacity and are not automatically repeated. Accepted means Instagram accepted the request, not that someone received or read it.
Review your monthly usage
The manager shows used contacts, pending confirmations, purchased contacts and the reset date. Included contacts reset on the first UTC calendar day and do not roll over. Annual subscriptions receive the same monthly allowance.
Handle the cap
In-app notices appear at 80%, 95% and 100%. Existing conversations can finish; new contacts need available capacity. Upgrade or explicitly buy 1,000 additional contacts for $10 USD on a paid plan. Purchased contacts do not expire and are used after the included allowance. No automatic recharge.
Good to know
- • Opt-outs, Instagram eligibility and sending rate limits still apply. A new flow next month can count the same person again. Accounts have separate recipient identities; the allowance is shared across the Instagram accounts permitted by your plan.
